Please take a minute to leave your thoughts about Fly. We appreciate it.
Fly died on December 27, 2001 from injuries sustained in an accident on December 16. He was on his way to a benefit in Citrus County at the time. As always, he was helping others. We've lost a photographer, a friend, a brother. We miss you, Bro. Ride with the angels and watch over us as we ride the by-ways of Florida. We love you.
He is survived by his wife Lexy, daughters Goldie and Billie Jo, sons Kevin and Sonny, granddaughter Hannah and many others. His departure has left a hole in many hearts.
Left - Fly and Lexy ridin' the loop on our way to Palatka for a party at Levi's - below - during Bike Week 2001. He knows the ol' Dixie Biker Hello, too.
Left - Fly had an accident in June 2001. An idiot pulled out ten feet in front of him. He totaled his left leg and his Road King. I shot this photo in July 2001 in the Smokin' Indian.
Below - Dixie Biker Illustrated, SIlver Moon Cycles and the Alachua Sports Pub sponsored a benefit for Fly and Lexy in September. What a great turnout we had, too! Here Fly poses with his daughter Billie Jo, Jeff, the owner of Silver Moon Cycles, and the rest of the crew.
Right - on the porch of ASP. Below - after the thunder storm Lexy and Boots gave Fly a little threesome action on the dance floor. A little later it turned into a little ol' lap dance for the handicapped.
Right - With his family on Father's Day at Shand's Hospital in Gainesville. From l to r we have Hannah, Billie Jo, Sonny, Fly, Lexy and Goldie. Below - a Father's Day kiss from daughter Goldie.

Below right - he really milked the pins in his leg for the sympathy flashes!
Left and below - Once he got the pins out of his legs, Fly was determined to get back in the wind. Harley was gracious enough to let him borrow his FL with side car rig and he was ridin' again. Both pictures from December 2001.
Saturday, December 29, 2001 - A Wake for Fly. What a turnout. Fly touched a lot of lives and many of them came out to support Lexy and to honor Fly. The wake was held at Fly and Lexy's home in Trenton, FL - about thirty miles west of Gainesville. A gorgeous day it was - Fly was lookin' out for us.
